Privacy & Terms

1. License & Use

Prior Network grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Prior AI Chrome Extension for personal or business use in compliance with these terms. You agree not to:

• Modify, decompile, or reverse-engineer the extension
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices
• Use the extension for illegal, harmful, or deceptive purposes
• Circumvent usage limits or security measures

2. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit. You grant Prior Network a limited license to process that content solely to provide the service. You are responsible for having the right to share any content you submit and ensuring it does not violate third-party rights or laws.

3. Required Browser Permissions

• activeTab: Read page content only when you explicitly trigger analysis
• storage: Save preferences, notes, and auth tokens locally
• identity: Authenticate with your Prior Network account
• contextMenus: Add right-click analysis option

4. Disclaimers

The extension is provided "as is." Analysis results are for informational purposes only and may not be accurate. We are not responsible for actions taken based on extension output. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the extension at any time.

5. Updates

Extension updates may be installed automatically through the Chrome Web Store. Significant changes to these terms will be communicated through the extension or via email. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

1. Information We Collect

• Authentication: Username and session tokens for account access
• Content you analyze: Text or code you explicitly select and submit — processed in real time, not stored unless you save it
• Saved notes: Content you explicitly save within the extension
• Usage statistics: Feature usage and error logs for troubleshooting
• Technical info: Browser version, extension version, OS type

2. Content Analysis & AI Processing

• Selected content is transmitted securely to our AI processing systems
• Raw content is deleted after processing unless you explicitly save it
• Anonymized patterns may be used to improve AI models — never in a way that identifies you
• We do not passively read, index, or track page content as you browse

3. Local Browser Storage

The extension stores the following locally in your browser:

• Authentication tokens for seamless login
• User preferences and settings
• Notes and content you have explicitly saved
• Cached data for performance

Clear this data at any time via browser settings or the extension's Clear Data option.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. Sharing is limited to: hosting and analytics service providers (under strict agreements), Prior Network services for account integration, and legal requirements. Business transfer disclosures apply as per the General Account policy.

5. Data Retention & Your Rights

Auth tokens retained while account is active. Temporary analysis data deleted immediately after processing. Saved notes retained until you delete them or close your account. Usage logs retained up to 90 days. Your rights mirror the General Account policy — access, correct, delete, export, restrict, and lodge complaints.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all content uploaded under it. Prior Network cannot be held liable for losses arising from your failure to secure your credentials.

2. Acceptable Use

You may not use Prior Vault for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. You must not upload content that:

• Infringes intellectual property rights
• Contains malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Violates the privacy rights of others
• Is illegal or promotes illegal activities
• Is excessively large or otherwise abuses storage limits

3. Content Ownership

You retain full ownership of files you upload. By uploading content you grant Prior Network a limited license to store, transmit, and process that content solely to provide the Vault service to you.

4. Service Limitations & Availability

Prior Vault is provided "as is" without warranty. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that files will never be lost. We strongly recommend maintaining your own backups of important files.

5. Account Termination & File Deletion

If your account is terminated for violations, files may be deleted without notice. You may request account closure and file deletion at any time. Files will be purged within 30 days of an accepted deletion request.

6. Limitation of Liability

Prior Network is not liable for data loss, unauthorized access by third parties, or interruptions to the Vault service. Our aggregate liability shall not exceed the amounts outlined in the General Account terms.

• Uploaded content: Files you store in Vault
• Usage data: Login times, features used, storage metrics, file access logs
• Technical info: IP address (for security logging), browser/app type

• Authenticate your identity and protect account security
• Monitor and enforce storage quotas
• Detect and prevent abuse, malware uploads, and unauthorized access
• Send service-critical notifications (storage limits, security alerts)
• Comply with legal obligations

3. File Access & Scanning

We do not read, index, or analyze the contents of your files for advertising or profiling purposes. Files may be scanned automatically for malware and known illegal content as required by law and to protect our infrastructure. This scanning is automated and does not involve human review unless required by a legal process.

• Files stored with encryption at rest
• All transfers over TLS/SSL
• Access controls limit who can view or manage your files
• Activity logs maintained for security monitoring

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your files or personal data. Files are shared only when you explicitly share them, with infrastructure providers under strict data agreements, or when legally compelled. Business transfer disclosures apply as per the General Account policy.

• Files retained while your account is active
• After account closure or deletion request: files purged within 30 days
• Backup copies purged within 90 days
• Access logs retained for up to 90 days for security purposes

• Download or delete your files at any time through the Vault interface
• Request full account and data deletion
• Access logs of who has accessed your shared files (where available)
• All other rights mirror the General Account privacy policy

2. Acceptable Use

You may not upload or share media that:

• Infringes intellectual property or copyright
• Depicts illegal activity or promotes illegal acts
• Violates the privacy or dignity of others
• Contains malware or executable code disguised as media

3. Local vs. Cloud Storage

Cloud storage is optional and requires explicit action. You control what is synced and can delete cloud copies at any time.

You retain full ownership of all media you upload. By uploading to cloud storage you grant Prior Network a limited license to store and transmit that content solely to provide the service to you.

5. Service Limitations

Prior Memoir is provided "as is." We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that cloud media will never be lost. We strongly recommend maintaining separate backups of irreplaceable media. Prior Network is not liable for loss of local media accessed through the app.

6. Termination & Data Deletion

On account closure, cloud media is deleted within 30 days of your request. Local media is never deleted by us. Backup copies of cloud media are purged within 90 days.

2. Device Permissions

Prior Memoir may request access to your device's photos and videos. These permissions are used only to display local media in the app and to allow you to choose what to upload. We do not automatically upload, scan, or analyze local media.

• Provide organization and search features for your media library
• Authenticate and secure your account
• Monitor storage quotas and usage
• Send storage and account-critical notifications

4. Data Security

• Cloud media stored with encryption at rest

• Access controls restrict unauthorized viewing of your media
• We do not use your media for AI training, advertising, or profiling

We do not sell your media or personal data. Cloud media is shared only via links you generate yourself, with infrastructure providers under strict data agreements, or when legally required.

• Local media on your device is never modified or deleted by us

• Download or delete cloud media at any time
• Revoke device media permissions through OS settings at any time

1. License & Permitted Use

Prior Network grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Prior Minecraft Loader on Windows devices you own or control, for personal use only. You agree not to:

• Redistribute, sell, or sublicense the Loader
• Decompile or reverse-engineer the application
• Use the Loader to install or distribute content you do not have the rights to
• Attempt to bypass security or remote-control features

2. Mod & Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for ensuring that any mods, modpacks, resource packs, or other content you install complies with its respective license. Prior Network is not responsible for content hosted by Modrinth, Mojang, or other third parties, nor for any conflicts, crashes, or data loss resulting from mod installations.

4. Remote App Control (Kill Switch)

The Loader periodically checks Prior Network servers to verify it is enabled. In cases of critical security vulnerabilities, legal issues, or service discontinuation, the app may be remotely disabled. No personal data is transmitted during this check. You will be shown an administrative message explaining the reason.

5. Auto-Updates

The Loader checks for updates automatically on startup. Updates are downloaded with your consent and installed on next quit. You can check for updates manually via Settings. Update files are verified by SHA-512 checksum before installation.

6. Disclaimer of Warranty

The Loader is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Prior Network is not liable for game corruption, mod conflicts, loss of save data, or any other damage resulting from use of this application. Always create a snapshot before installing new mods.

7. Modifications & Discontinuation

Prior Network reserves the right to update, modify, or discontinue the Loader at any time. Continued use of updated versions constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.

8. Children

The Loader may be used by players aged 13 and older. Users under 18 should have parental consent. The Loader does not collect personally identifiable information from any user.

1. Anonymous Telemetry

The Loader sends anonymous usage events to Prior Network servers to help us improve the product. These events include:

• A one-way hashed machine identifier — derived from your device hostname, OS version, CPU model, and total RAM. This hash cannot be reversed to identify you or your device.
• Event types: appLaunch, appClose, modpackInstall, updateDownload

2. Microsoft Authentication (Optional)

If you sign in with a Microsoft account through the built-in Prior Launcher:

• Your Xbox Live / Minecraft access token is stored locally in encrypted application storage on your device
• Credentials are never transmitted to Prior Network servers
• Tokens are sent only to Microsoft and Mojang servers to authenticate your game session
• You can sign out and remove stored credentials at any time from the Launch page

3. Local App Data

The following data is stored only on your device and never transmitted to Prior servers:

• Minecraft directory paths and install settings (%APPDATA%\prior-installer-data.json)
• Mod presets (metadata + JAR files stored in .minecraft\prior-backups\presets\)
• Snapshots (backups stored in .minecraft\prior-backups\)
• Download concurrency and RAM settings
• Saved Minecraft accounts (offline mode)

Prior Network does not control these services and is not responsible for their data practices.

6. Data Sharing

Prior Network does not sell any data. Anonymous telemetry is used solely for internal product improvement. No data is shared with third parties beyond what is technically necessary for the services listed in Section 4.

7. Data Retention

• Anonymous telemetry events retained for up to 12 months for trend analysis, then deleted
• All local app data is deleted when you use Settings → Danger Zone → Clear All Data, or uninstall the app
• Microsoft credentials are removed when you sign out
